Iran is besieged by "spy squirrels"

According to a Iranian news agency, Iran has captured 14 "spy squirrels" with eavesdropping devices. The Iranians blame foreign intelligence services. And no, I am not making this up. Story from Kamangir.

According to IRNA, the official Islamic Republic news agency, the national Police chief has implicitly verified the news about the confiscation of a number of squirrels, equipped with eavesdropping devices, on the Iranian borders. He has declined to give any more details, but, reportedly, when asked about the confiscation of 14 spy squirrels, he stated, “I have heard about it, but I do not have precise information”. IRNA adds, “These squirrels were equipped by foreign intelligence services, but were captured two weeks ago by the Police”.

It looks like Iran has to add another Satan into its terminology. It is already in opposition to the "Little Satan" (Israel), the "Great Satan" (United States). Now it can add the insidious "Rodent Satan" (Squirrels).

The squirrels were just looking for a bunch of nuts!

(someone had to say it)

Even if the US were to use rodents as secret agents, wouldn't they use a species a little more indigenous to the area? I don't know about you, but I don't remember seeing too many squirrels running around the Midddle East on those National Geographic programs...

Something tells me the CIA is a little smarter than that (hence the name ;)

Now, maybe, finally, SOME people will begin to realize what kind of 'nut' cases we have to deal with.

Squirrel-power indeed!
